Adeyanju Hails Tambuwal’s Withdrawal from Senate Race, Says Atiku and Obi Headed for Another Defeat in 2027

A legal practitioner, Lawyer Adedeji Adeyanju, has commended former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, for what he described as a selfless political decision taken in the interest of Nigerians.

Adeyanju, in a strongly worded statement, said Tambuwal demonstrated leadership qualities that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi failed to show during the 2023 elections and ahead of the 2027 political contest.

According to him, Tambuwal’s action reflected patriotism and commitment to the collective good, unlike what he termed the “selfish ambitions” of opposition leaders.

He alleged that both Atiku and Obi contributed to the opposition’s defeat in 2023 due to their inability to work together despite previously contesting jointly in 2019.

“Tambuwal has done what the two greedy and selfish clowns, Atiku and Obi, could not do in 2023 and 2027 for the common good of Nigerians,” Adeyanju stated.

The lawyer further predicted that both opposition figures would suffer another political setback in the next general election, insisting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would politically retire them in 2027.

His remarks have since sparked fresh conversations within political circles over the future of opposition alliances ahead of the next presidential election.
