Ajilesoro Thanks APC Leaders, Supporters After Securing Third-Term Reps Ticket

The member representing Ife Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro, has expressed appreciation to leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his emergence as the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives election.


Ajilesoro, who currently serves in the 10th National Assembly, emerged as the APC candidate after the party’s primary election conducted in the constituency ahead of the next general elections.


In a statement issued through his media office, the lawmaker described the outcome of the primary as a victory for the people of Ife Federal Constituency and commended party leaders, delegates, women, youths, and other stakeholders for what he called a peaceful and transparent exercise.


According to him, the support and confidence reposed in him by party members would further strengthen his commitment to quality representation and development across the constituency.


Ajilesoro said his emergence reflected the unity and collective determination of APC members to sustain progress within the constituency, adding that he remained dedicated to people-oriented leadership and effective representation.


The federal lawmaker also praised other aspirants who participated in the primary election, commending their maturity and democratic conduct throughout the process. He stressed the need for party members to remain united after the contest in order to strengthen the APC ahead of future elections.


He urged APC supporters and stakeholders in Osun State to work collectively for the success of the party in the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.


Ajilesoro particularly called for support for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, describing the election as crucial to the future of the party in the state.


The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to using the mandate entrusted to him to pursue developmental projects and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of residents of Ife Federal Constituency.
