APC Senatorial Primaries: K-Rad Defeats Ajagunla as Fadahunsi, Ogunbiyi Clinch APC Tickets in Osun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its senatorial primary elections in Osun State, producing candidates for the three senatorial districts ahead of the next general elections.


In Osun Central Senatorial District, legal practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Barrister Kunle Adegoke, popularly known as K-Rad, emerged victorious after defeating incumbent Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi, widely referred to as Ajagunla, in the keenly contested exercise.


For Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Fadahunsi clinched the APC ticket following his victory at the party’s primary election, strengthening his political standing within the district.


Similarly, business mogul and politician, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, secured the party’s senatorial ticket for Osun West Senatorial District after emerging winner of the primary poll.


The primaries, which attracted party leaders, delegates, and supporters across the state, were conducted amid high political interest as aspirants battled for the opportunity to represent the APC in the forthcoming senatorial elections.


Party faithful in the various districts expressed optimism that the emergence of the candidates would further strengthen the APC’s chances in Osun State during the next electoral cycle.
