JAMB Activates Change of Institution Process for 2026 UTME Candidates

 By Kehinde Awosina

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has officially activated the change of institution and course process for candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Board’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who advised candidates seeking to change their institution or programme of choice to visit any approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre across the country to complete the process.

According to the statement, only accredited CBT centres are authorised to carry out the changes, urging applicants to avoid unapproved centres to prevent errors or possible fraud.

The Board also announced that the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slip will officially commence on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Candidates are therefore encouraged to take advantage of the process early and ensure all corrections and changes are properly completed ahead of the admission season.
