Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, who represents Osun State East Senatorial District and chairs the Senate Committee on Industries, has strengthened the campaign structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obokun Local Government with the donation of more than 11 campaign vehicles.
The empowerment package, aimed at boosting mobilisation efforts ahead of the Osun State governorship election scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, was unveiled during a stakeholders’ meeting held in Ilase-Ijesa, the senator’s hometown in Obokun Local Government Area.
In addition to the vehicles, the senator also reportedly provided ₦2 million in financial support to assist party activities at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the gathering, Fadahunsi urged party members to intensify door-to-door campaigning across communities, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver electoral success. He assured supporters of continued backing throughout the campaign period.
In a further political declaration, the senator reaffirmed his intention to seek re-election to the Senate in 2027, insisting that his mandate in Osun East remains strong. He expressed confidence that he would continue to serve beyond the current term, stating that his political journey is still firmly on course.
The development is expected to further energize APC structures in the district as preparations for both the 2026 governorship election and the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
