The National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) National Headquarters has reaffirmed its unwavering support and loyalty to the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, and members of the Osun State Executive Council.

In a statement released by the student body, NAOSS described Governor Adeleke as its Grand Patron, commending his administration for what it called significant strides in education, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, and responsive governance across the state.

The association, which represents indigenous Osun students in tertiary institutions within Nigeria and abroad, stated that it remains committed to protecting the interests of students while supporting policies and initiatives aimed at improving educational standards and creating opportunities for young people.

According to the statement signed by the Executive President of NAOSS, Ajibola Lateef Folajimmy, the Adeleke administration has restored confidence among students and youths through practical commitments to educational advancement and inclusive governance.

NAOSS noted that students remain critical stakeholders in the development of Osun State and pledged to continue engaging constructively with the state government through advocacy, recommendations, and policy contributions targeted at improving student welfare and expanding access to opportunities for indigenous students.

The association further stated that its support for the governor and his cabinet is built on “mutual respect, shared vision, and a common determination to build a state where every student has the opportunity to excel.”

The student body also appreciated Governor Adeleke for his “fatherly role” and openness to dialogue on student-related matters, describing his willingness to listen to the concerns and aspirations of students as a source of hope and confidence for the youth population in the state.

NAOSS assured the state government of its readiness to mobilize students towards active participation in programs that promote educational excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community development.

The statement was issued through the General Secretary of the association, Ajewole Peter Oluwatosin, alongside members of the association’s public relations team, including Kareem A. F, Alaba S. O, and Sulaiman Taofiq Kunle.
