The Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Foundation (CAHF), a long-standing educational support initiative founded by Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, has announced plans for its 2026 Scholarship Award Ceremony aimed at empowering students and promoting academic excellence across Ijesaland.
The annual scholarship programme, widely regarded as one of the most impactful educational interventions in the region, has for decades provided financial assistance and encouragement to deserving students, helping many young scholars pursue their academic ambitions.
According to the organisers, the 2026 edition of the scholarship award is scheduled to hold on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the prestigious Oba Adekunle Aromolaran Civic Centre, located within Afin Adimula, Ilesa. The event is expected to commence by 9:00 a.m.
The ceremony is anticipated to draw attendance from traditional rulers, government officials, education stakeholders, community leaders, students, parents, and beneficiaries of previous editions of the scholarship scheme. Many residents and stakeholders have continued to commend the foundation for its unwavering commitment to human capital development and educational advancement in Ijesaland and beyond.
Speaking on behalf of the foundation, Prof Kola Kazeem described the programme as a sustained investment in the future of young people and the development of society through education.
