The group known as the Unofficial Aides to Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated the governor on the official flag-off of his second-term campaign, describing it as the beginning of a renewed push for continuity in governance.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the group said its support for Governor Adeleke was anchored on what it described as “visible results, compassionate leadership, and people-centred governance,” rather than political sentiment or personal loyalty.
According to the aides, the Adeleke administration has recorded notable progress in key sectors including workers’ welfare, pension reforms, road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, agricultural development, small business support, and community empowerment.
They further praised the governor’s commitment to youth inclusion, stating that his administration had created unprecedented opportunities for young people to actively participate in governance and contribute to state development.
The group noted that the official commencement of the “Imole 2.0” campaign represents a critical moment in sustaining ongoing development efforts in the state.
“It is about protecting the progress already achieved and ensuring Osun continues on the path of sustainable development, peace, and shared prosperity,” the statement read.
Reaffirming their support, the aides pledged continued mobilisation in support of the governor’s re-election bid, expressing confidence in the success of the campaign.
