Egbedun Hails Osun Peanut Vendor, Pledges Support for Her Forensic Career Ambition

The Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, , has praised the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of a young Osun-based businesswoman, Miss Comfort Musa, describing her as a shining example of hard work, self-reliance, and determination among Nigerian youths.


Egbedun made the remarks after hosting the 23-year-old graduate of Human Anatomy from at his office.


According to the Speaker, Comfort Musa chose entrepreneurship over unemployment after completing her university education. Through her peanut business in Osogbo, she has continued to build a sustainable livelihood while pursuing her long-term career aspirations.


The lawmaker disclosed that he became interested in her story after watching an online interview during the recent Sallah holiday. He said he was particularly inspired by her passion for pursuing a career in Forensic Anatomy and her commitment to personal and professional development.


Egbedun noted that her determination to succeed despite prevailing economic challenges reflects the resilience and innovative mindset of many young Nigerians striving to create opportunities for themselves.


During their meeting, the Speaker applauded Musa for her courage, perseverance, and clear sense of purpose, adding that her journey serves as an inspiration to other young people across the state and beyond.


He further assured her of his continued support toward the growth of her business as well as her academic and professional aspirations, stressing that empowering industrious youths remains critical to national development.


The Speaker maintained that individuals like Comfort Musa represent the future of Nigeria, expressing confidence that with the right support and opportunities, young entrepreneurs can contribute significantly to economic growth and societal progress.
