“Ekiti Victory Is Just the Beginning, APC Will Repeat Feat in Osun” — Party Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has expressed confidence that the party's success in the Ekiti governorship election will be replicated in Osun during the state's forthcoming governorship poll.

Speaking in Osogbo, Oyintiloye said Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election victory in Ekiti has further strengthened the APC's belief that it can reclaim power in Osun. He described the Ekiti result as a clear indication of public confidence in the APC and its leadership.

According to him, the outcome of the Ekiti election has energized party members in Osun and reinforced their determination to secure victory in the state's governorship election. He maintained that the APC remains united and committed to mobilising support across Osun.

The APC stalwart also praised the party's candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, describing him as a capable and widely accepted figure who possesses the qualities needed to lead the state. He urged party members to close ranks and work collectively to ensure electoral success.

Oyintiloye further argued that victories in both Ekiti and Osun would strengthen the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections and reaffirm the party's dominance in the South-West region.

Accord Shocks APC, Wins Omisore’s Polling Unit in Osun Governorship Election

  By Abdulahi Musa  The Accord Party has won the governorship election at the polling unit of former Osun Deputy Governor and ex-National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Iyiola Omisore. Results uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Result Viewing Portal (IReV) showed that Accord secured 131 votes at Polling Unit 003, Ife Ward 1 (Moore), St. Gabriel Primary School, in Ife East Local Government Area. The APC placed second with 85 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 10 votes. Other political parties recorded only a few votes at the polling unit. The development marks another early gain for Accord as the collation of results from polling units across Osun State continues.
