INEC Unveils Candidates for June 20 Bye-Elections Across Six Constituencies

 



The Independent National Electoral Commission has released the final list of candidates contesting in the June 20, 2026 bye-elections scheduled for various senatorial, federal, and state assembly seats across the country.


The elections will be held in four senatorial districts, one federal constituency, and one state assembly constituency.

The bye-elections are expected to fill vacant legislative seats and will serve as a key political test for major parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
