JAMB Announces Availability of 2026 UTME Original Result Slips for Printing

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can begin printing their Original Result Slips from Wednesday.

The board stated that the Original Result Slip, which contains candidates’ scores, passport photographs, and examination details, is an important document required for admission screening and other academic processes. Candidates are expected to access and print the slip through JAMB’s e-Facility portal after completing the necessary payment procedure.

JAMB had earlier delayed the activation of the printing portal to allow for the completion of foreign examinations, mop-up examinations, and other post-examination processes. The board explained that because the UTME is a ranking examination, all candidate results and rankings needed to be fully processed before the Original Result Slips could be released.

According to the examination body, the Original Result Slip differs from the score notification previously sent to candidates, as it serves as the official document accepted by tertiary institutions for admission verification and screening exercises.

Candidates are advised to log in to their JAMB profiles on the e-Facility portal, make the required payment, and print the document ahead of admission-related activities. The board also urged candidates to rely only on official JAMB platforms to avoid falling victim to fraudsters.
