“Nigerians Are Growing More Confident in Tinubu’s Leadership” — APC Spokesman

 By Kehinde Awosina

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has asserted that Nigerians are becoming increasingly confident in President Bola Tinubu’s administration, pointing to ongoing reforms as the reason for what it described as renewed optimism in the country’s direction.

This was stated by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, during a television interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, where he defended the administration’s policy decisions since it assumed office in 2023.

Morka explained that the Tinubu government inherited a fragile economic environment marked by exchange rate instability and longstanding subsidy-related challenges. According to him, the administration has since taken bold steps aimed at addressing these structural issues.

He noted that key reforms, particularly in the foreign exchange and fuel subsidy systems, were necessary corrections intended to stabilize the economy and lay a foundation for sustainable growth.

The APC spokesman argued that the impact of these measures is gradually becoming visible, pointing to improved investor confidence and a more stable economic outlook as signs of progress.

He further maintained that Nigeria’s economic indicators, including foreign reserves and investment interest, suggest growing trust in the country’s long-term prospects.

Morka concluded that, despite initial hardships, the reforms are beginning to reshape the economy positively, adding that more Nigerians are now hopeful about what lies ahead.
