Reps Candidate Pelumi Olajegbensi Gifts Prado, ROEWE, Eight Other Vehicles to Loyal Supporters

Barrister Pelumi Olajegbensi, the Accord Party's House of Representatives candidate for the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, has distributed 10 vehicles to some of his associates and supporters as a gesture of appreciation for their loyalty and commitment to his political movement.


Olajegbensi, a legal practitioner, disclosed the development in a statement on Sunday, describing the donation as a way of recognising individuals who have remained steadfast in supporting his vision over the years.



According to him, politics is a journey that cannot be undertaken alone, stressing that the contributions and sacrifices of supporters deserve to be acknowledged.


The vehicles, which include different categories such as a Toyota Prado SUV and a brand-new ROEWE vehicle, were presented to beneficiaries to aid their mobility and strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of future political engagements.


The Accord candidate explained that the gesture was motivated by gratitude rather than personal celebration, noting that those who had stood by him through different seasons of his political journey deserved to be appreciated.



He said the vehicles would not only ease the burden of service but also enhance the capacity of recipients to continue supporting community and political activities.


"Political journeys are too long to be walked alone," Olajegbensi stated. "Yesterday was my own little way of saying thank you to friends and brothers who have stood through the seasons, believed in the vision, shared the burden and remained committed to the cause."



He added that every sacrifice, act of support and shared struggle along the political journey should never be forgotten, expressing appreciation to those who have remained committed to his aspirations.


Olajegbensi also maintained that although the journey ahead remains challenging, he is confident that collective effort and unity will continue to drive the movement forward.



"The road ahead is still long, but we move together," he said.

Accord Shocks APC, Wins Omisore’s Polling Unit in Osun Governorship Election

Results uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Result Viewing Portal (IReV) showed that Accord secured 131 votes at Polling Unit 003, Ife Ward 1 (Moore), St. Gabriel Primary School, in Ife East Local Government Area. The APC placed second with 85 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 10 votes. Other political parties recorded only a few votes at the polling unit.
