Atiku: I Have Evidence Tinubu Is 90 Years Old, Will Present It in Court

 




Former Vice-President and African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate for the 2027 election, Atiku Abubakar, has claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is 90 years old.

Atiku, who made the claim while speaking about the controversy surrounding the President’s age and personal records, said he possessed evidence to support his allegation.

The former vice-president said he was prepared to present the evidence before a court of law, rather than engage in prolonged public arguments over the matter.

The claim adds a fresh dimension to the ongoing political rivalry between Atiku and Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Atiku emerged as the ADC’s presidential candidate as opposition political forces continue to mobilise ahead of the 2027 elections.

The controversy over Tinubu’s age and personal records has previously featured prominently in Nigeria’s political discourse, with supporters and opponents of the President offering conflicting claims.

Atiku’s latest statement is therefore likely to fuel further debate as the 2027 presidential contest gathers momentum.

Accord Shocks APC, Wins Omisore’s Polling Unit in Osun Governorship Election

Results uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Result Viewing Portal (IReV) showed that Accord secured 131 votes at Polling Unit 003, Ife Ward 1 (Moore), St. Gabriel Primary School, in Ife East Local Government Area. The APC placed second with 85 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 10 votes. Other political parties recorded only a few votes at the polling unit.
