Pastor Chris Unveils Electric Cars as Christ Embassy Ventures Into Tech

The founder and president of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has unveiled a range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand, marking the church’s expansion into technology, innovation and economic development.

Oyakhilome unveiled the vehicles during The New Economy Unveiling 2026 with Pastor Chris, an economic and innovation-focused programme organised by the church.

Videos from the event showed the cleric presenting several vehicle models, including the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision series, Vision Coupe and OG series.

During the presentation, Oyakhilome disclosed that some features of the vehicles were still undergoing refinement, including aspects of the steering wheel design. He also explained that “OG” stands for “Of God.”

Reacting to the development, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, described the initiative as evidence of the church’s growing influence beyond religious activities and into the marketplace.

Idowu said the development had broadened his perspective on what the church could accomplish in society, noting that Christians should not only preach but also contribute solutions through innovation and enterprise.

He said, “This is what it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.”

According to him, the initiative demonstrated that the church was capable of developing solutions and making an impact in the marketplace.

The unveiling represents a significant move by Christ Embassy into the electric vehicle and technology space, adding automobile development to its broader focus on innovation and economic empowerment.
