FG Launches Rev360 to Revolutionise Tax Collection and Boost Compliance Nationwide
By Abdulahi Musa
The Federal Government has unveiled Rev360, a new digital tax administration platform aimed at improving tax compliance, simplifying taxpayer interactions, and strengthening revenue collection as part of ongoing reforms to modernise Nigeria's tax system. The platform was launched at the headquarters of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) in Abuja.
Representing the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, Permanent Secretary Mohammed Danjuma described Rev360 as a major milestone in modernising Nigeria's revenue administration. He said efficient tax administration encourages voluntary compliance, boosts transparency, and strengthens investor confidence.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, said the platform would support the government's drive to improve the ease of doing business and contribute to the ambition of building a $1 trillion economy. She noted that technology-driven tax reforms are key to achieving sustainable economic growth.
NRS Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, described Rev360 as evidence of the agency's transformation from a traditional revenue collection institution into a technology-driven organisation. According to him, the platform represents the future of tax administration in Nigeria.
Rev360 is designed as a one-stop digital platform that integrates taxpayer registration, assessment, filing, payment, audit, customer support, reporting, and compliance management. Officials said it will make tax processes easier for individuals and businesses while helping government improve revenue generation and voluntary compliance.
The platform also provides real-time visibility into tax obligations, enhanced workflow management, stronger compliance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Government officials believe it will reduce administrative burdens on businesses and improve transparency in Nigeria's tax system.
